Chris is a puppeteer, actor, and entertainer who has been living and working in New York City for over a decade. Since his completion of the Studio conservatory program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy he has been working in a variety of creative mediums. As a puppeteer, actor, mascot performer, and event entertainer Chris has worked with networks such as Disney, NBC, Universal Kids, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, MTV, PBS, and brands such as Charmin, Emblem Health, Twitter, LinkedIn, New York Public Library, Macy's, Bank of America, Ghostery, and more! His work in puppetry, acting, and event entertainment has allowed him to perform on national television, and on stage off-broadway and throughout the NYC area, as well as touring throughout North America. As a writer/director Chris's work has been seen by thousands of people online, and been put on stage at various venues throughout the city. Highlights from Chris' puppetry work include starring as Tigger in Disney's Winnie the Pooh- opening October 21st! As well as in the Emmy-nominated preschool series Snug's House as the puppeteer and voice of Snug the puppy on NBC's Universal Kids Network. Catch Snug with his best friends Carly and TJ as well as special guests such as Dolly Parton, Jimmy Fallon, Isla Fischer, the Wiggles and more week day mornings starting at 8am and on YouTube and all VOD services! Chris' puppetry has been featured on television shows such as Today, Fox and Friends, PIX 11 Morning News, Cake Boss, Moms with Attitude, Celebrity Wife Swap, MTV's Story Pig, The CBS Morning News, and Un Nuevo Dia. Chris performs the Mighty T-Rex and serves as Lead Puppeteer at Field Station: Dinosaurs where he brings the 15 ft long, 100 lb mechanical dinosaur puppet to life and has taught tens of thousands of kids about dinosaurs and science. Chris is gearing up for his 9th season at the Field Station as well as working in show development, having helped create live and prerecorded shows such as Cretaceous Costume Party and Dragons to Dinosaurs. Recently Chris has stepped into the role of director on Dinosaur Daredevil: Archaeopteryx Cleared for Takeoff- a black light puppet musical featuring a cast of over 30 puppets also built by Chris- and the Halloween program Dinosaurs After Dark. Field Station: Dinosaurs will open again in June 2020. Chris has worked with the Jim Henson Company on the first national tour of Dinosaur Train Live: Buddy's Big Adventure under director John Tartaglia. Recently Chris built and performed puppets for the parody music video Tweetin' Donald, notable film/tv critic Matt Zoller Seitz's gritty crime dramedy short Space Rabbit, wrote, Seventh Generation's The Habitat Heroes, and joined Teatro SEA for a two week engagement of La Cucarachita Martina at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA. Recently Chris starred in the comedic play Abominable Fancy as the amazing talking human Liver at the Hudson Guild Theatre. As an actor on stage Chris' credits include The Butterfingers Angel and Laughter on the 23rd Floor with theater troupe By the Mummers, the national tour of Box Out Bullying, voicing various characters in Krampusnacht, a staged radio play with March Forth Productions, and appearing in The History of Toys with the Toy Museum of NY as a Swing. Film and television credits include the HBO short film First Prize, a series of web commercials for Emblem Health, web commercial for Circus Hill, Mom Has Cancer, What Now? for the James Hospital in Columbus, OH, several appearances on the online sketch comedy channel Finger Point Snap, providing the voices of Doctor and Cop in the indie sock puppet feature film The Fracktaplots, and portraying the Physician in the independent film Moon Quest.
